• Data you provide through the contact form: name, email, phone number, company/organisation, job title, service of interest, and your message.
• Technical data automatically logged by the server for security: IP address, access time, browser type, and pages visited.
• Data you send us directly by email or WhatsApp, including CVs and cover letters for recruitment.

Please do not submit specific personal data (such as health, personal financial, or children’s data) through this website’s form.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to and following up on your consultation request — based on your consent (Article 20(2)(a) PDP Law).
• Preparing proposals and performing engagement agreements if you become a client — based on contractual necessity.
• Keeping the website secure and preventing spam and abuse — based on legitimate interest.
• Meeting legal and professional obligations applicable to an accounting services firm.

We do not sell your personal data, nor use it for marketing without your separate consent.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. Fonts and all site assets are served from our own server, so your visit is not shared with third-party providers.

5. Who receives your data

• OPT Konsultan staff assigned to handle your request.
• Hosting and email service providers processing data on our behalf under agreements and confidentiality obligations.
• Competent authorities where required by law.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s (Meta Platforms) privacy policy. Data is stored in Indonesia where possible; any transfer outside Indonesian jurisdiction will maintain an equivalent level of protection as required by Article 56 of the PDP Law.

6. Retention

• Contact-form messages that do not lead to an engagement: up to 2 (two) years from the last message.
• Job applications that do not proceed: up to 1 (one) year from receipt.
• Client data and engagement documents: as required by law and professional standards.
• Server security logs: up to 90 (ninety) days.

When the retention period ends, data is destroyed or anonymised.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), need-to-know access, protection against spam and form abuse, and confidentiality obligations for all personnel. In the event of a personal data protection failure, we will notify as required by Article 46 of the PDP Law.

8. Your rights

Under the PDP Law, you have the right to:

• obtain information about the processing of your personal data;
• access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
• update or correct inaccurate data;
• end processing, erase, or destroy your personal data;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• delay or restrict processing; and
• object and file claims in accordance with the law.
